PFD Esthetic PFM

PFM.png

Porcelain Fused to Metal restorations (PFMs) are an excellent option for dentists who seek a restoration that combines both durability and natural-looking internal characteristics. The underlying coping replicates the performance of a natural tooth, while the ceramic coating replicates the natural esthetics. These restorations are fabricated using CAD/CAM technology resulting in a metal coping with a porcelain surface.

Porcelain fused to metal can be used for single and posterior single-unit crowns and bridges, and can be designed to fit any type of preparation as well. PFM restorations are also indicated for crowns and bridges used in combination with cast partials. Porcelain can be fused to non-precious, semi-precious or white high noble copings.
